The Story

Jason's client put it so simply, "I want my home to feel alive and happy." This simple phrase guided every decision we made in designing this colorful and eclectic family home. Jason's clients wanted to transform this otherwise country home to reflect their love of color, pattern, texture and special objects. It is evident after seeing the red & pink family room and the cheery sunroom, color plays the leading role throughout. Even in the master bedroom, spots of red-orange play off the calming (yet happy) blue palette.

Jason's biggest challenge was to take a home filled with unique pieces and make it feel cohesive. From Mediterranean tiles used on the stairs to the custom chandelier in the entry and the mosaic backsplash in the kitchen, each room was carefully crafted to maintain the character of the objects (whether furniture, art or accessory) placed within. This deliberate approach ensured a final design that is both balanced and artful.
