The Story

This nice condo tucked away in a quaint neighborhood with great views of Portland, Mt. St. Helens and beyond was in need of a new decorative scheme. Jason's client, a local business owner and motorcycle enthusiast, wanted a home that reflected his taste for quality and custom. Jason focused on texture, pattern, clear color stories and custom elements throughout. The dining room walls are covered in a recycled polyester wall covering in a chevron pattern, centered around a custom walnut dining table and topped with a sculptural (and colorful) Spanish light fixture. Custom drapery in the living room creates a comfortable atmosphere and beautifully frames the tree-top view. A custom reclaimed wood bed is the real showstopper, however. Jason worked with a local craftsman (Joe Gibson of Revolution Design House) to implement their design. The overall design is clean, contemporary, tailored and sophisticated. Not a bad way to live.
